Women, York and the Environment.

For the first time York Environment Forum is part of York International Women’s Week. We are recognising women in York, past and present,  who are / were active in campaigns and all kinds of work on environmental issues.

Our event replaces the usual monthly meeting, and takes place on Tuesday 10th March, 4 to 5.45pm, in the Marriott Room of York Explore, Museum Street.  A talk and presentation will run from 4.30 to 5.00, with the rest of the event open as a drop-in for informal networking. Women are especially welcome – promote your activities, find a group to join, and share your experiences.

The event is free of charge, no need to book – just turn up.
