2026 Community Climate Action in York

The York Environment Festival team has published a booklet aimed at everyone who lives in and cares about York. It is a resource guide about what to do, how to get involved and what is available to help. Sections include travel, food, energy, greenspaces and climate change.

York Environment Forum members suggest items of interest.

Produced for an event held in York Environment Week 2020, the leaflet identifies a number of trees and their locations at the New Earswick nature reserve. Public access to the site is available by requesting a key from the Committee Secretary, at nenaturereserve@outlook.com. The area adjacent is easily accessible by foot or bike, from Haxby Road or the cycle track from the Wigginton Road direction, with a wide variety of plants and birds.
