Recent Good News

York Environment Week is expanding beyond just one week. The dates in 2024 will be starting on 14th September and running until 12th October. There is a team hard at work finalising the details that will soon be publsihed for anyone intersted in holding an event during that period.

What is more we heard in April that Awards for All, the Community Fund, has given £4,000 to spend on increased publicity and web presence so that even more residents will be able participate in the environmental events. Thanks to the YEF members and supporters who put the bid together, and to everyone who made the grant from the Community Fund possible.
